We are delighted to welcome Pip to the CAT team as a Student Liaison. Let’s find out
a little more about her journey so far
“Pip completed a one-year intense training program at Urdang Academy for Performing Arts before studying for a BA (hons) in Dance and Culture Studies at the University of Surrey, with a placement at the Birmingham Royal Ballet in the Department for Learning.
After graduating, Pip did a year of volunteering and experience in the education sector before she embarked on a PGCE in Secondary Dance at the University of Exeter. In 2017, Pip became a Dance Subject Leader at a small secondary school delivering GCSE and key-stage 3 Dance for the last 6 years.
Pip is excited to be pursuing a new position at Swindon Dance and exploring a new career in the performing arts sector. She also delivers evening classes for Adults in Jazz, Contemporary and Barre at a local fitness gym.“
