CYPHER STORIES A Hip-Hop mash up! Cypher Stories uses elements of Hip Hop culture, presented in a Cabaret style: acts and short performances by different artists. A live DJ will accompany the artists on stage providing a fresh soundtrack to acts ranging from the Cyr Wheel and juggling to aerial and street dance. Performed with an evocative live score, SILK ROAD is a fascinating exploration of the rituals along nomadic routes, conjuring images of the pilgrims, monks, traders and urban dwellers who made their way from China to the Iberian Peninsula. 'Puzzle Creature' Inspired by artist/architect duo Arakawa and Madeline Gins, PUZZLE CREATURE combines dance, immersive set design and a surround sound score and questions attitudes to aging and the body. The audience will occupy the same space as the performers and the three exquisite dance artists drive the performance with wearable body sculptures from Ana Rajcevic creating curious imprints of choreographed action.
