Swindon Dance Awarded £100,000 ACE Grant for Facility Development

Swindon Dance is thrilled to announce the successful award of a £100,000 grant from Arts Council England (ACE) through the Capital Investment Programme. This substantial funding will enable a comprehensive development of our internal facilities, significantly enhancing the on-site experience for all our users.

Enhancing User Experience and Accessibility

This funding will be directed towards a series of vital upgrades aimed at transforming our historic listed building into a more comfortable, accessible, and environmentally sustainable space.

Empowering the Community Through Dance

By investing in our facility’s future, Swindon Dance aims to provide high-quality facilities accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. This development aligns with our commitment to fostering a creative and inclusive community space where everyone can thrive. We plan to complete the project in 2025.

Seeking a Project Manager

To bring this vision to life, we are seeking a skilled Project Manager with experience in managing internal facility upgrades, particularly in historic buildings. The successful candidate will oversee the entire project, ensuring it meets all regulatory requirements and is completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include obtaining necessary consents, appointing and managing contractors and liaising with various departments within the local authority.
