Outreach Workshops
Swindon Dance CAT works together with dance teachers from across the South West to help identify young talented dancers and ensure they have access to high-quality dance training, regardless of their personal circumstances. Most students on the CAT programmes were encouraged to apply by their teachers in their secondary school, college or local dance school. Once on the programme students can receive financial support to continue dance lessons within their local area as well as their CAT training in Swindon or Exeter.
What we offer…
As part of outreach activity each year we are able to offer free workshops for your school, college or youth group. The workshops will provide a taster of our Contemporary and/or Street Dance training in practical classes led by CAT tutors, as well as provide your students with information on the Swindon Dance CAT Programmes. On occasions, we are also able to provide more bespoke or longer workshop projects to build engagement with your students.
