    Senior Financial Administrator

Exciting Opportunity – Senior Financial Administrator (Centre for Advanced Training)

Are you looking for a rewarding role in a creative and supportive environment? Do you enjoy bringing structure and clarity to busy teams and want to use your skills to support young people in the arts?

Swindon Dance is looking for a Senior Financial Administrator to join our Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) team, a department that helps exceptionally talented young dancers aged 11–18 take the next step in their training.

We’re after someone who’s confident with financial administration and great at communicating with others. If you’re organised, detail-focused and enjoy seeing the bigger picture too, we’d love to hear from you. You don’t need a background in dance, just an enthusiasm for supporting young talent and an interest in working in the arts and charity sector.

At Swindon Dance, we believe creativity flourishes when different voices and perspectives come together. We’re actively working to make our team more representative of the communities we serve and warmly welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and lived experiences. Whether you’re returning to work, changing careers or bringing a fresh outlook from a completely different sector, your unique perspective matters here.

This is a part-time role (22.5 hours per week / 3 days) starting from 24th November 2025, with a salary of £24,750 (pro rata, depending on experience). The role offers hybrid working and may occasionally include evening or weekend work.

The CAT programme is part of the national Department for Education’s Music & Dance Scheme, which supports young people from all backgrounds to access high-quality dance training.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

If you’d like to have an informal chat about the role before applying, please contact our Head of Activities, Katie Purcell, on 01793 601700 (ext. 201) or email Katie.Purcell@swindondance.org.uk.
