Megan Howe

Born in the UK, Megan began her studies in Contemporary dance at Swindon Dance on the Centre for Advanced Training, before continuing her training at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. During her time as an emerging dance artist Megan has had experience performing in a variety of choreographies and has worked with a number of choreographers, such as Daniel Squire (rework of Merce Cunningham, mini events) and Jessica Wright (Wayne Mcgregor Company).

In her second year, she choreographed a piece entitled ‘here’, which was chosen to be performed in the Bonnie Bird theatre. Megan has a particular interest in collaborating with live musicians and composers. She has also volunteered as a workshop leader for classes in educational settings and has worked alongside a range of artists and companies, including Neon Dance and Carys Staton’s – Melting Project and Candoco, as part of work placements. Megan has been involved in a project with a digital film and production student from Ravensbourne University, creating a film combining body art and movement as well as a project with an art student from the University of Arts London, combining art/sculptures and dance.
