A free DDTAL event — Tuesday 31st January 2012 in London
The Diploma in Dance Teaching & Learning (DDTAL)
for Children & Young People
Dance artists, employers and dance organisations are invited to a free one-day event, organised by Youth Dance England. Following the successful pilot programme for the Diploma, candidates who took part, employers who have employed DDTAL graduates and organisations who provided the training will share experiences firsthand.
Programme
The programme for the day includes an introduction to the Diploma, case studies and testimonies from candidates and employers, and break-out sessions focusing on the differing experiences of training providers, candidates and employers.

What is DDTAL?
DDTAL is a teaching qualification specifically for dance artists and practitioners in the formal and informal sectors interested in teaching children and young people. It's a flexible and accessible modular course, awarding credits at Level 6 on the Quality & Credit Framework. The course content outline is available from
