Diploma in Dance Teaching & Learning
Starting Autumn 2010 at Swindon Dance
The Trinity College London accredited teacher training course, Diploma in Dance Teaching & Learning (DDTAL), is now available through Swindon Dance.
What is DDTAL?
DDTAL is a teaching qualification specifically for dance artists and practitioners in the formal and informal sectors interested in teaching children and young people. It's a flexible and accessible modular course, awarding 90 credits at level 6 (equivalent to third year of a BA Hons) on the Quality & Credit Framework. The course content outline is available from www.trinitycollege.co.uk/ddtal.
Who can apply?
Anyone over 18 years old with either dance training to degree level or relevant experience (formal qualifications not required). Those ready to be assessed can apply immediately for the Diploma, or training and/or mentoring is offered for those wanting to work towards the Diploma assessment. Both are available at Swindon Dance. All assessment is done by Trinity College London.
How much does it cost and how do I apply?
The costs for each of the four modules, along with the costs for mentoring and training pathways, are outlined in the
downloadable pdF document. To apply, you need to register your interest using the contact details below.
