Swindon Youth Dance Company
Tuesdays 5.30pm - 7pm in term time
Swindon Dance's flagship company, Swindon Youth Dance Company (SYDCo), offers high quality technical, choreographic and performance opportunities for 13-19 year olds. It is primarily a contemporary-based company, and it maintains strong associations with professional choreographers and teachers throughout its one-year programme.
Swindon Youth Dance Company
Young dancers working with Swindon Youth Dance Company receive enhanced training, and increase their versatility through exploring a range of dance styles relevant to the company's development, choreographic and performance profiles.
Past members of the company have gone on to train at such nationally-recognised dance schools as The Royal Ballet School, London School of Contemporary Dance, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Trinity Laban, London Studio Centre and Rambert School of Ballet & Contemporary Dance.
